Title : I want my Cakeshop. Now.
    Time : 5/30/2009 05:58:00 PM

    COMMON

    TESTS

    ARE

    COMING

    UP.

    Oh well.

    I WATCHED ANTIQUE CAKESHOP!!!!! <3<3

(Now that's more worth getting excited over >:3 )

Honest to say, I'm not really a big fan of Joo Ji Hoon (whom many of you might know as Lee Shin from the very very popular K-drama, Princess Hours or Goong) but seriously, I couldn't help falling for the way he acted in Antique <3

Some screen caps that caught my eye (and maybe make you think "What the heck is up with this girl and her spare time??"

    MEN. LOVELY MEN. LOL.

(My all-time favourite pose of Ji Hoon OTL He was actually wriggling his fingers and making a sort of "ding-ling-ling" noise <3 style="text-align: center;">
Do not, I REPEAT, do NOT watch this movie on an empty stomach. Oh, all those loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelyyyyyyyyyyyy cakessss~ *rubs hands in glee*

    I couldn't decide which were prettier: the men or the cakes... ;w;

Kim Jae Wook (the Gay with Demonic Charm) was pretty hot too XDD After watching Antique, I feel pretty keen on watching it again OTL Not to mention, I want my cakes to be served by hot men now OTL

Oh, additional information: THIS IS NOT A STRAIGHT OUT HOMO MOVIE. THOUGH I WISHED THERE WAS MORE 'SCENES' BUT OH WELL WE CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING WE WANT. There are some pretty ghaey scenes but then again it's ANTIQUE BAKERY LA C'MON. Other than that, it also has a dash of humour, suspense and thriller sort of feel in it. What I didn't like about the movie was that some scenes were pretty chopped and made me go "Huh?" but overall, it leaves a bittersweet aftertaste that makes you want to watch it again (I KNOW I DO~) and eat cakes together alongside it.

Title : Same Crap, Different Day
    Time : 5/24/2009 09:45:00 PM

Just a quick update of the past week so that you'll understand that poly life hasn't consumed me yet.

    Monday: Nothing much. Real life always hits so hard on Mondays ;w;

Tuesday: Became the guinea pig for practical class (since I had the shortest hair). Pictures may or may not be posted as I look condemningly stupid. But Melody and Evan assures me of my cuteness. So am still contemplating.

Wednesday: Went to Gymwerkz (the campus's private gym for students only) to check it out with Melody and Evan. Backed off quickly, after seeing too many shirtless men hoisting weights and whatnot. And no, not all were hot. After that, went to the library and checked out the movie '27 Dresses'. Had a blast watching it and am now being all fluffy and romanticist.
Traipsed off to the Mr. Prata shop near Clementi MRT station with Evan and two guys whose names were Stenphel and Nicholas (who kept trying to convince me his name was Rain OTL)

Thursday: Nothing much either. Typical day, except Evan got hit on by one of the obnoxious guys in class and got kinda pissed. I mean, seriously, he just came up and asked "Eh, I want your number can?" No charm at all O_O

Friday: WENT BACK TO KUCHING AGAIN LOL *have been doing so for the past few weekends. That's why I love Singapore*

    Time : 5/13/2009 07:38:00 PM

    Should I?

    Or should I not?

    Btw, it's S$129.

But it's going to come in very very handy since I get really annoyed when I get tangled up in all my wires.

And I can listen to it during too-long lectures (seriously, 2 hours of Psychology is enough to drive anyone mad)

Blehhhhhhhhhh...........we shall call it 'a smart investment'.

Title : While in Kovan 8)
    Time : 5/10/2009 03:57:00 PM

Previous Saturday = funnest. day. ever.

My 'half-cousin' Lisa [OKAY, WILL ATTEMPT TO EXPLAIN HOW OUR RELATIONSHIP WORKS: Her mum is my aunt's sister. Therefore, Lisa and I are related but not by blood. Coincidentally, her mum married my parents' close friend during their young adult years OTL] studies in Raffles Institution *I KNOW SO PRESTIGIOUS RIGHT*. One of her CCAs is Fashion Design.

So that Saturday, I went with her to the club's photoshoot in Kovan. The theme was 'grunge' and *round eyes* it was rather large-scale omg. Even better, their teacher, Miss Chua, was involved so everything could run smoothly O_O (crap, I miss the spur-of-the-moment photoshoots with my bums). M.A.C. was supposed to sponsor the make-up but backed out (dunno why) so now...their make-up is sponsored by ANNA SUI.

    COOL RIGHT?

Lisa had 5 models: 2 girls, 3 guys. I have to say, she did a rather good job on the clothes 8D The night before, we were up embroidering. I sewed on the designs for Greg's (one of the models) pants OTL *pricked my fingers a lot of times in the process* HIS PANTS ARE FROM ZARA. AND I WAS SEWING ON IT O_O But according to Lisa, he's effing rich O_O

Meh, meh enough of the chatter. PHOTO SPAM!

    MAKE-UP TABLE!

The make-up artist. The first two areLisa's models: Hazel and Vivien. LOOK LOOK LISA'S BEHIND THERE! In the red shirt OTL

At first, Hazel's eyecolours refused to blend.

    But...TA-DAH~! The end result.

Vivien's colours were more of a black, smoky thing, since the style she's doing is dark grunge. Hazel's is bubblegum grunge 8D

Then it was time to go scouting for a suitable location. These were all taken in an abandoned residential area. Miss Chua was also there to supervise and position the models.

This is Tom and Vivien. Both designs are Lisa's creations.

They had no chemistry whatsoever. That's because they only just met on the set that day OTL but honestly, it looked real good.

And this is Hazel and Greg. LOOK LOOK THE PANTS I EMBROIDERED! 8D

*oops oops the photographer's flash thingy is inside*

After that, Lisa and I walked all the way back down to Kovan MRT station to go back home. Bought a "Cheer You Up" Giordano shirt cuz, um, I ran out of shirts O_O

I'm tired, will go nap now OTL

    Title : Like, OheMGee.
    Time : 5/07/2009 11:02:00 PM

Went for my first-but-technically-second Cosplay division meeting of JTC...

I have to admit, it was rather a disappointment (eventhough I DID meet a fellow BL fan there + another Kuroshitsuji fan (who's a guy and supports Sebasu) + one KHR fan (who is also a guy and wants to cosplay as Gokudera)

The seniors were unable to control the noise volume in the lecture theater and the president looked very murderous.

Going to do a little rant here.

I don't like the way the seniors act. They acted like they were the ones who knew everything, as if they had years and years of cosplaying under their belt. Like Belle said, they're 'acting very elitist'.

Most of them seemed to think that it was their job to order us which character to cosplay. I mean, for heaven's sake, WASN'T COSPLAYING ALL ABOUT FUN? Since when did it fall upon them to decide who's going to cosplay who?

Cosplay (from my point of view eventhough I'm no pro or anything) has no right or wrong. You can look like shit but at least you're having fun. I'm not going to cosplay a character that I don't even know!!! *Yes, they were actually handing out characters that they think we should cosplay even though some of us didn't even know who the fuck those characters were.*

They even stereotyped what sort of people should cosplay what characters.

Take Haruhi from 'The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi' for example.

According to them, people who want to cosplay as her should be 'cute, spunky, not too tall, cannot be emo, should be quite petite, big-eyed bla bla bla.'

    Like WTF?

Then they were all, "Unless you want to be utter fail, you should carefully choose what character you fit."

I mean, c'mon! Is it crime to let an emo girl cosplay Haruhi?? Will that emo girl even cosplay as Haruhi???? I'm getting somewhat off the point here but whatever.

I think cosplay's just all about having fun. Doesn't matter if you don't fit the character or not. It's the fun factor.

Then there was this other girl who *apparently* knows EVERYTHING about Allen Walker. I really detest how she got so impatient with me when asking me which bloody uniform I wanted to cosplay. I told her, "Neh, the Exorcist uniform." and she said, "THERE'S 3!!!" (I'm sure she would've added "You ignorant bitch." but her tone said it all.)

How the fuck would I know the Black Order would come up with another uniform that was black and red????

THE MANGA WAS ALL BLACK AND WHITE ;w; She got all high and mighty after that and started flipping through the bloody pages (eventhough I told her -- fucking told her that I was sure it was the 2nd uniform I was thinking of). SHEESH. I TOTALLY REMEMBERED IT WAS THE 2ND UNIFORM. I kept telling her summore!!!!!!

I think she was just showing off that she had that book.

    *Sorry, am really pissed here*

I was pondering whether I wanted to continue staying in that division ;w; but then after some advice from Belle, I think I'll just hang around a bit some more. Just don't get too close to some of them.

Thank goodness Evan was with me or else I would've considered slapping that girl for her impertinance (seriously, she seemed to be so furious at my *ahem* 'ignorance' her voice went all high and impatient) ARGH.

    *steam runs out*
