Oh. My gosh.
I was at the Harry Potter fandom part in Fanpop recently and saw all this Draco/Hermione flames and it really pissed me off.
Granted, I'm not that obsessed of a fan of that ship as it's started to get a little boring after reading some very, very unsubstantial lousy fanfictions. BUT STILL. If you don't like it, why flame it like hell??
Example #1: "people who picked Dramione are idiots how could they like her best friend and draco are mortal enmies and Draco dad is a death eater hermione is aginst Voldemort"
Yes, I copy and pasted lol. But that's not the point. WHO CARES IF YOUR DAD'S A DEATH EATER? Love conquers all, right?? And calling people idiots for choosing the Dramione ship...that's just idiotic in it's own sense. Besides, lol, I may sound retarded for saying this but Dramione is a lot better sounding than Romione. That's right. Romione. Ew.
Example #2: "I don't see why you could like Dramione. I have read the books a lot and I don't see any hint that Hermione and Draco could be in love."
Uh, dood, ever heard of this quote "You know that when I hate you, it is because I love you to a point of passion that unhinges my soul."? It's from Julie de Lespinasse, a French author. However, *sigh* canon is still canon and people look at it from different ways. That's why.
Example #3(gotta vent my fustration): "ron and hamione are a nice couple but it seems that all draco does is call her names expecially to get her attention"
YOU DIDN'T EVEN SPELL HERMIONE CORRECTLY. *Spasms for a while* And, you know, the immature schoolyard bully who has a crush on the school's princess WILL call her names just to get her attention because he craves for it.
Fufufufu~not-really-an-EXAMPLE #4: "Romione Forever. Draco hate her,and they not make a cute couple either"
This...this made me think of an ape. Or Axel (being short-circuited on too much Roxas-loving). Oh, and don't brown and gold go together? Hermione has brown hair while Draco has blonde hair. I think it complements.
Example #5: "yeah, chemistry as in they, when mixed together, will explode and destroy each other and those around them. yeah, i see chemistry"
As in the Dramione ship. But chemistry isn't always about explosions and destruction, hey. It can be about mixing two correct ingredients and discovering something new. Expand your horizons a bit, mate. Or have you been watching too much slapstick cartoons?
Example #6: "WHO WOULD PIC DRAMIONE I MEAN HE CALLS HER A MUD BLOOD ALL THE TIME! AND SHE HATES HIM SHES CALLED HIM A COCKROACH"

Example #7: "Ron and Hermiony!!! They get married at the end of the seventh book, isn't it obvious??"
I absolutely LOL-ed at this. You mean, you made your choice based on canon? Your life must be dull, mate. And there was a very, very long break between before the ending. A lot could've happened in that time *wink wink*
Example #8: "they are so meant to be together!! i hate Dromione it is so supid!"
Since when were you one to judge who was meant to be together with who? And why is Dramione stupid? Or "supid" in your case. I don't think Ron/Hermione is stupid, really. I just think it's sort of like marrying your brother. So there.
Example #9 (gosh, I really AM fustrated): "i agree, but i dont' remember them as a couple... it must be in the books, my bad. oh well, i saw Hermoine react well to Ron in the movies, so i think they are a great couple. Better than Draco, anyway...anytime"

The Dramione ship is not in the books, you dolt. And never, EVER EVER trust movies. Books are the way to go. Movies just...screws everything up and cuts out too much.
Example #10: "Draco is an asswhole, everybody knows that, Ron is the one for Hermione"
Maybe Hermione should stay an old maid for her whole life. Ron did not note her feelings (being the boy he was) till the seventh book. And Hermione already had feelings for him since the fourth book.
Thank heavens not everyone in that particular poll was brainless. This comment: "Just because it's not spelled out in the books doesn't mean it's not there. We see Hermione defend Draco when Harry accuses him of being a Death Eater, after all. I think Ron and Hermione are better off just as friends" made me feel like it logic-fies why we do not see Dramione in canon. And I seriously seriously think that Hermione marrying Ron was sort of..incestous. Um. Yeah.
Augh, enough of my venting. I had to get it out of my system anyways. Please don't think of me as being some bitchy bitch, insisting that 'D/Hr is the way to go!'. I just couldn't stand the way some people were all "I fucking hate Dramione cuz it's stupid" or "Draco's stupid. I prefer Ron." Uh, how come Draco's stupid? Isn't he always just behind Hermione, academically? And we all know that Hermione always gets top results. Oh, and how about the fact that Draco is the one person that can obviously verbally spar with Hermione and not lose his head? As for Ron, well, he's just...Ron. I can't say anything about him without people going "Oooh, now look WHO'S flaming now??" so yeah.
Maybe I seem like I have to much time on my hands (like really XD) but I just want to say: We all have different views/opinions on everything. It gives you no reason to hate other people's different opinions. And who knows? People may hate the opinion that you have too, right?
