Title : Back and There Again

I'm getting sort of sick of D/Hr fanfiction these days.
Don't get me wrong, I adore the ship. I want to man it if I could (but I can't so that's sort of moot).
But I've been stumbling on to lots of really lousy fics that just gets me going "AARGH!". It's really hard to find good fics with good plots and good grammar. And not just that but good characterization too. If you don't know the characters well, try not to write fanfics pleaaaaaase, I'm beggin' ya. It just makes them seem stilted, stiff and boring, turning readers off (NOT in the dirty sense). Good fics should also have good beta-readers (and some of the really excellent ones I know are from Coloured Grey) because beta-readers helps the writer improve their stories, correct grammatical errors/canon errors, be there as an idea-bouncer and generally make the story a whole damn lot more interesting.
I have to say the same for KHR! fics. Don't just churn out some crappy story with super uber lousy grammar and post it!! It makes KHR seem so cheap!! Like me! I do not post anything that I come up with due to the fact that it is very crappy and I want to shoot myself after reading it over again!! *and wonder, how the hell did I come up with this shite??* (%)^@#$%!^*(*))_$^~#$$@^%*&^()() jeesh!
I figured out what my pet peeve is: lousy grammar and errors that shout "OY LOOK AT ME I'M SO OBVIOUS I SHOULD BE EXECUTED!"
*P/S(post shite): Good アニメ should not be doomed to the likes of Naruto/Bleach/One Piece. They should never, EVER be dubbed into BM nor Chinese. Only subbed. But Naruto/Bleach/One Piece have lost all hopes of ever being salvaged. Let us all hope that KHR!, 黒執事 and D.Gray-man never, ever, ever suffer the same fate. Oh, lol, Naruto/Bleach/One Piece all have one thing in common: They. Never. Ever. Finish. All have been going on for until 200+ episodes/400-500+ manga chapters. Title : JPAE's, Polytechnics and whatnots

I seriously have to blog about this or you'll get one very confused girl clutching a handful of application forms and submitting them all wrong ;w;
Okay, so, first of all, I have to check up on the JPAE (Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise) for all Polytechnics (but I'm only aiming for NYP and NP) which requires a minimum of Grade 1-6 for English, Gen/Add Maths and Gen Science/Bio/Chem/Phys. Application form will only be available as of 9th March, 2009 at 10am. Like that, if SPM result not out yet, might as well use forecast *squirm* which isn't really good since there's only 5A's...but if SPM result come out before that, I'll send in that.
I'm supposed to submit my admission forms before 13th March, 2009 to the Polytechnic of my first choice apparently. So that goes to NYP. My second form shall go to NP then. Oh, before anyone asks, NP refers to Ngee Ann Polytechnic. SgP, Temasek P, and Republic P do not offer nursing courses so I guess I have to apply for another subject course in any one of those P's. Maybe I'll check out the DMD(Digital Media Design) for Games LOL (though mum says career prospects for that aren't much) or try out Linguistics(English) (which says mum have more career prospects XDD). I have to take up an extra-curricular course in NYP too. Which shall be Japanese since I plan to get bonded to a hospital there. But to do that, I have to pass a kangoshi/看護師(nurse) exam given by the Japanese government. 本当に参りましたね...T^T 但...私は死ぬ気戦う!!! 猛!!!!!!!!!! 義理を沢田ツナ!! だめツナです!!! \(030)/ gotta love Tsuna-kun~ yeah, had to confuse you guys there for a mo cuz I couldn't help inserting some KHR phrases in there. (Basically, I said "I'm really confused...T^T But...I'LL KEEP ON FIGHTING WITH MY DYING WILL!!! EXTREME!!!!!!!!!!! Courtesy of Sawada Tsuna!! No-good Tsuna!!!" meh, as if you guys care anyways but...okay. Shall stop my ramblings.)
I really hope I can get into nursing. The more I read about it, the more happy I was that I could choose this path because nursing really opens up your career choices. Plus, people will love you everywhere you go since you have the skills! Lol, *dreams of going to Africa/wherever there are maladies and sickness and becoming the next Mother Teresa* uhuhuhuhu *w*
Been pigging out too much in front of computer laaaa!! Those pea-like sort of crunchy...peas. Yeah. Brought back those from Japan and I'm devouring it within a month. The whole bag's almost empty *DOOM DOOM DOOM* DDDD: And I can't bring myself to eat the chocolate that Belle gave me as a very very belated Vday's present cuz she made it!! *No, not implying that it's poisoned. Just that it's precious* But the Hershey's that have been given to me by my fiancee (HAHAHAHA, THE GIRL WHO THINKS SHE HAS A NO-BRAINER BOB) were crammed into my mouth within days of receiving it.

And same X-Glove powers!! So tell me, what else should Vongola Primo be named? And lol, I seriously thought it was an Older Tsuna when he appeared in the manga.

THERE'S SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH ALMOST EVERY MALAYSIAN SMOKER.
They feel the need to smoke within the vicinity of people eating.
I mean, SERIOUSLY LA, what's up with that?? Is it some kind of pact/vow thingy saying, "I, as a proud Malaysian smoker, will hereby give my solemn promise to bloody smoke very, very near people who are eating and give them lung cancer for inhaling my atrociously foul-smelling smoke."??
Lol, I was at a food place, eating away jolly-ly when suddenly...
"WTF, WHY DO I SMELL SMOKE WHEN I TAKE A BITE OF MY DELICIOUS CHA KUEH??"
Yeah that was me. Except I didn't really yell out the "WTF" part. Anyways, my mum happily answered, "Must be someone smoking~! (And then continued on in a louder voice) WHO'S SMOKING? (spoken in hokkien la)"
And so, the group of us (yes, I hang out with my parents' good friends. So what??) moved the table and the guy who was smoking at the next table shot us all dirty looks (heehee). That got on my dad's nerves since I could feel it in the air.
Actually arh, come to think of it, we were the nice ones for moving away to let him smoke in peace because I wouldn't put it past my dad to do the guy serious bodily harm. Oh, and me stubbing out the cigarette on his forehead while reciting the dangers of holding a 700 degree Celsius (I'm too lazy to open up MS Word just for one measley little circle thing behind the 700 and in front of Celsius) in your hand with your loved ones about you.
Think about it: You are holding a 700 (or was it 500?) degree Celsius fire in your hand. With your kids/boyfriend/girlfriend/hubby dearest/wife dearest/grandma/grandpa/mom/dad/dog/cat/beloved pet very close to you. Haha, the front part was on a packet of tissues I received in Narita International Airport. Lol, one thing I like about Japan, they don't simply let you smoke anywhere. There are designated areas, as such is Singapore. Why can't Malaysia do it? Every small thing that I say or do, You-(Don't)Know-Who just can't help pointing it out in a very malicious way to my mum. Oh. My gosh.
I was at the Harry Potter fandom part in Fanpop recently and saw all this Draco/Hermione flames and it really pissed me off.
Granted, I'm not that obsessed of a fan of that ship as it's started to get a little boring after reading some very, very unsubstantial lousy fanfictions. BUT STILL. If you don't like it, why flame it like hell??
Example #1: "people who picked Dramione are idiots how could they like her best friend and draco are mortal enmies and Draco dad is a death eater hermione is aginst Voldemort"
Yes, I copy and pasted lol. But that's not the point. WHO CARES IF YOUR DAD'S A DEATH EATER? Love conquers all, right?? And calling people idiots for choosing the Dramione ship...that's just idiotic in it's own sense. Besides, lol, I may sound retarded for saying this but Dramione is a lot better sounding than Romione. That's right. Romione. Ew.
Example #2: "I don't see why you could like Dramione. I have read the books a lot and I don't see any hint that Hermione and Draco could be in love."
Uh, dood, ever heard of this quote "You know that when I hate you, it is because I love you to a point of passion that unhinges my soul."? It's from Julie de Lespinasse, a French author. However, *sigh* canon is still canon and people look at it from different ways. That's why.
Example #3(gotta vent my fustration): "ron and hamione are a nice couple but it seems that all draco does is call her names expecially to get her attention"
YOU DIDN'T EVEN SPELL HERMIONE CORRECTLY. *Spasms for a while* And, you know, the immature schoolyard bully who has a crush on the school's princess WILL call her names just to get her attention because he craves for it.
Fufufufu~not-really-an-EXAMPLE #4: "Romione Forever. Draco hate her,and they not make a cute couple either"
This...this made me think of an ape. Or Axel (being short-circuited on too much Roxas-loving). Oh, and don't brown and gold go together? Hermione has brown hair while Draco has blonde hair. I think it complements.
Example #5: "yeah, chemistry as in they, when mixed together, will explode and destroy each other and those around them. yeah, i see chemistry"
As in the Dramione ship. But chemistry isn't always about explosions and destruction, hey. It can be about mixing two correct ingredients and discovering something new. Expand your horizons a bit, mate. Or have you been watching too much slapstick cartoons?
Example #6: "WHO WOULD PIC DRAMIONE I MEAN HE CALLS HER A MUD BLOOD ALL THE TIME! AND SHE HATES HIM SHES CALLED HIM A COCKROACH"

I absolutely LOL-ed at this. You mean, you made your choice based on canon? Your life must be dull, mate. And there was a very, very long break between before the ending. A lot could've happened in that time *wink wink*
Example #8: "they are so meant to be together!! i hate Dromione it is so supid!"
Since when were you one to judge who was meant to be together with who? And why is Dramione stupid? Or "supid" in your case. I don't think Ron/Hermione is stupid, really. I just think it's sort of like marrying your brother. So there.
Example #9 (gosh, I really AM fustrated): "i agree, but i dont' remember them as a couple... it must be in the books, my bad. oh well, i saw Hermoine react well to Ron in the movies, so i think they are a great couple. Better than Draco, anyway...anytime"

The Dramione ship is not in the books, you dolt. And never, EVER EVER trust movies. Books are the way to go. Movies just...screws everything up and cuts out too much.
Example #10: "Draco is an asswhole, everybody knows that, Ron is the one for Hermione"
Maybe Hermione should stay an old maid for her whole life. Ron did not note her feelings (being the boy he was) till the seventh book. And Hermione already had feelings for him since the fourth book.
Thank heavens not everyone in that particular poll was brainless. This comment: "Just because it's not spelled out in the books doesn't mean it's not there. We see Hermione defend Draco when Harry accuses him of being a Death Eater, after all. I think Ron and Hermione are better off just as friends" made me feel like it logic-fies why we do not see Dramione in canon. And I seriously seriously think that Hermione marrying Ron was sort of..incestous. Um. Yeah.
Augh, enough of my venting. I had to get it out of my system anyways. Please don't think of me as being some bitchy bitch, insisting that 'D/Hr is the way to go!'. I just couldn't stand the way some people were all "I fucking hate Dramione cuz it's stupid" or "Draco's stupid. I prefer Ron." Uh, how come Draco's stupid? Isn't he always just behind Hermione, academically? And we all know that Hermione always gets top results. Oh, and how about the fact that Draco is the one person that can obviously verbally spar with Hermione and not lose his head? As for Ron, well, he's just...Ron. I can't say anything about him without people going "Oooh, now look WHO'S flaming now??" so yeah.
Maybe I seem like I have to much time on my hands (like really XD) but I just want to say: We all have different views/opinions on everything. It gives you no reason to hate other people's different opinions. And who knows? People may hate the opinion that you have too, right?
